Ma honored as 2018 Beckman Institute Graduate Fellow

ECE ILLINOIS graduate student Yayao Ma has been selected as one of seven Beckman Institute Graduate Fellowships this year, which offers Illinois graduate students the opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary research at the institute.
Her research will promote interdisciplinary work among fields such as biomedical imaging, nanomaterials, neuroscience, and clinical sciences. Ma will be working with ECE ILLINOIS Assistant Professor Liang Gao who is a member of the Bioimaging Science and Technology Group, and Paul V Braun, a professor of materials science and engineering and member of the 3D Micro- and Nanosystems group.
