M.Eng Professional Development Coursework
M.Eng Coursework must include 4 hours of professional development defined as (i) graduate-level project course ECE 596, Master’s Project, supervised by ECE graduate faculty or faculty affiliate or (ii) graduate-level coursework in leadership, entrepreneurship, or business. Courses acceptable under category (ii) include but are not limited to:
- TE 401 Developing Breakthrough Projects (1 to 4 hours)
- TE 450, Startups: Inc, Fund, Contracts, IP (3 hours)
- TE 460, Lectures in Engineering Entrepreneurship (1 hour)
- TE 461, Technology Entrepreneurship (3 hours)
- TE 466, High-Tech Venture Marketing (2 hours)
- TE 560, Managing Advanced Technol I (1 hour)
- TE 565, Technol Innovation & Strategy (2 hours)
- TE 566, Finance for Engineering Mgmt (2 hours)
- TE 567, Venture Funded Startups (1 hour)
- TE 598, Special Topics IV (1 to 4 hours)
Professional development courses not listed here must be approved by the Director of Graduate Studies.
