While a student at Illinois ECE, Jeff was involved in the ECE Student Advancement Committee (ECESAC), Illinois Leadership Center, Illini Democrats, Tau Beta Pi, Engineering Honor Society, and Engineering Student Alumni Ambassadors (ESAA). Due to his academic excellence, Jeff was awarded many scholarships (Jung/Chan, Tolli, Benfer, MacClinchie, Koehler, and Grainger) and was recognized in 2013 as an honoree of the Knights of St. Patrick (KSP).
