Ethan Miller earned the BS (2003) from Ohio Northern University, MS (2005) from the University of Minnesota, and PhD (2009) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, all in Electrical Engineering.  From 2009 to 2011, Dr Miller was a postdoctoral associate at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.  He subsequently continued at JHU/APL as a member of Senior Professional Staff, building an integrated space physics and radio science research program based on his PhD work at Illinois.  He was later nominated to the Principal Professional Staff and became group leader for the Geospace and Earth Science Group within the Laboratory’s Space Exploration Sector.  In 2019, Dr Miller left JHU/APL to join the national security technology company STR, where he is a team leader and continues to work on challenging radio science and sensing problems.
