Zhang Cheng Family Scholarship

Description:

Joy Zhang (PhD ECE ‘2011) established this endowed scholarship with her family to support undergraduate and graduate students to present their research work in conferences. Joy saw great value in attending conferences in developing her own technical and interpersonal skills when she was a graduate student. Her trips wouldn’t have been possible without various funding support at the time. After a decade in industry, she wants to start a long-term investment in future students through this fund.  The Fund shall support scholarships for travel and conference costs. 

Requirements:

The recipients must be current students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and have co-authored a research paper that has been submitted and accepted to present at a conference.

Award:

The recipient(s) will be recognized during an annual Student Awards Banquet. All student recipients are featured on this web page, as well as the Student Honors display on the second floor of the ECE Building.
