Texas Instruments Women STEM Star Scholarships

Texas Instruments and ECE ILLINOIS continue to develop a deep partnership. TI is committed to supporting STEM education. They believe that finding creative solutions to problems requires diverse perspective, and it’s up to the next generation of thinkers to shape the future of our world.They are passionate about empowering encouraging all students, including girls and minorities who are underrepresented in our STEM fields today, to be problem-solvers.
The Texas Instruments STEM Star Scholarships support women in the department of electrical and computer engineering at Illinois. These scholarships were announced on the same day as the unveiling of “The Quintessential Engineer” statue. Also funded by Texas Instruments, the statue of a woman engineer is designed to inspire young women.
Award
All student recipients are featured on the second floor of the ECE Building's Student Honors Wall. The recipient(s) will be recognized at the annual spring ECE Awards and Recognition Banquet.
