Lauren Kelley Memorial Scholarship

Description:

This scholarship is given in memory of Lauren Elizabeth Kelley, granddaughter of Dr. Richard E. and Mrs. Barbara A. Blahut. Lauren passed away at the age of 14 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dr. Blahut served as head of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department from 2000 to 2008.

Requirements:

The recipients must be undergraduates in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with preference given to female students and residents of New York or Virginia.

Award:

The recipient(s) will be recognized during an annual Student Awards Banquet. All student recipients are featured on the second floor of the ECE Building's Student Honors Wall.
