Siddharth "Sid" Muthal

Siddharth “Sid” Muthal (BSEE ’15) planned to start graduate school when his life was cut short due to an untreatable lung infection, the result of a genetic health condition, Sid and a team of fellow students embarked on a Senior Design Project aimed at “Improving the Patient’s Experience” during hospitalization. The project won “Best Marketable Idea” and sparked the startup company Corvae, transforming Sid into an entrepreneur and a CEO at the age of 22. This award is dedicated towards that spirit with which Sid lived and illuminated every moment of his life and of those around him.

Students submit a one-page description of the project or activity demonstrating outstanding innovation and passion for entrepreneurial thinking. At least two letters of reference are also required.

The recipient(s) will be recognized during an annual Student Awards Banquet. All student recipients are featured on the second floor of the ECE Building's Student Honors Wall.
