The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign reintroduced one of its signature faculty honors this spring with the University Distinguished Teacher-Scholar Awards, which recognize professors who take on sustained, active leadership in improving teaching and learning at Illinois. The awards were presented to two faculty members — electrical and computer engineering professor Yuting Chen and computer science professor Jeff Erickson — during a ceremony hosted by the Office of the Provost.
