Advice for future Illinois ECE students:  ECE is such a big department and versatile place, if you have not found what you want to do in the first few years, do not worry, the important thing is to not give up and keep trying your best. It took me over two years to figure out what I want to do, and after four years I only have a rough idea of what I want.

Also, if you feel like a failure due to a tough class, don't be. You have no idea which seniors cried and struggled in which classes. You are not alone, ask for help. Both the department and its students are always willing to help, ask and keep trying your best. You will get through it.
