ECE ILLINOIS alumnus Angky William (BS CompE '13) was named to the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his work with his startup Stoqo, a platform for food and beverage outlets to source competitive ingredients.

ECE ILLINOIS alumnus Angky William (BS CompE '13) was recently named to the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. The members of this year's Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list were chosen from over 2,000 entries, researched by a team of reporters, and evaluated by a list of judges. 

The 300 entrepreneurs and revolutionaries named to this list represent 23 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region and distinguish themselves for their technological innovations, immense talent, and performance on the world stage. 

Previously an Amazon engineer, Angky William is the co-founder and CTO of STOQO, a business-to-business marketplace for small food and beverage outlets "to source fresh, reliable, and competitively-priced ingredients" according to Forbes. William built multi-platform technologies for STOQO to serve tens of thousands of customers in Indonesia.

In 2016, William went back to his home country of Indonesia and decided to found STOQO with co-founder Aswin Andrison in hopes of improving the food supply chain in Indonesia to benefit the underserved, STOQO has raised seven-figures in funding from Accel Partners, Monk's Hill Ventures, ZhenFund, Insignia Ventures, and Alpha JWC Ventures,
