Brian Raczkowski received his BS, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is currently a Principal Engineer with PC Krause and Associates, Inc. specializing in modeling, integrating and analyzing dynamic interconnected systems. He also develops integrated system frameworks and support tools for power, thermal and propulsion systems.

While at Illinois, Brian’s advisor was Professor Pete Sauer. He started as an undergraduate research assistant in the Advanced Power Electronics Laboratory and continued as a graduate research assistant in the Power and Energy Systems Group. Brian was a teaching assistant for Senior Design, Power System Analysis, Electric Machinery and Interdisciplinary Design Project. He was the vice president for IEEE Joint PELS/PES student chapter and was a representative and chair for the ECE Student Advisory Committee.
