Xinzhou Wu

Xinzhou Wu is VP of Automotive at NVIDIA, as well as a member of the executive staff. He leads strategy, product planning, and engineering execution for the automotive business, partnering with auto OEMs to enable autonomy in mass production vehicles around the world and to improve the user experience for automotive customers with both in-vehicle and in-cloud AI technologies from NVIDIA.
Previously, Dr. Wu led XPENG Motor's Autonomous Driving Center for five years, with a team of 1000+ members across the US and China. He was responsible for strategy, product and technology planning, and execution for XPENG’s autonomous driving products. His team delivered advanced autonomous driving solutions in multiple vehicle platforms which are recognized as best in class, and significantly accelerated the adoption of high level autonomous driving technologies in the China market. Prior to XPENG, Dr. Wu led Qualcomm’s autonomous driving team.
Dr. Wu received a B.S. degree from Tsinghua University, as well as M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, all in electrical engineering. He holds 250+ issued US patents.
