Joy Laskar is a co-Founder and CEO at Maja Systems. Maja Systems has helped pioneer the development of millimeter wave gigabit wireless products for a new class of data transport connectivity. Dr. Laskar’s technical expertise and contributions are at the intersection of Radio Frequency Electronics, Analog Electronics and Electromagnetics. Dr. Laskar has co-founded 5 companies, co-authored 5 textbooks, published more than 600 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, 60 patents (issued or pending) and graduated 41 Ph.D. students (while holding various tenured faculty positions at the University of Hawaii and Georgia Tech). Dr. Laskar received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is proud to be Professor Milton Feng’s first Ph.D. Student. Dr. Laskar is an IEEE Fellow, a member of the IEEE Access Editorial Board and past member of the DARPA Investor Working Board.
