ECE ILLINOIS sent a team of women to the 2019 Grace Hopper Celebration. Attending the conference allows students to expand their academic and hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom, as well as connect with innovators, including alumnae, from around the world.

ECE ILLINOIS women attended Grace Hopper Celebration 2019 in Orlando, FL Oct. 1 - 4, 2019.  Grace Hopper Celebration is the world's largest gathering of women technologists. ECE ILLINOIS sent a team of women, including an advisor [profile:slwalker] and faculty member [profile:krdc], to the 2019 conference. Attending the conference allows students to expand their academic and hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom, as well as connect with innovators, including alumnae, from around the world.

During the 2019 conference, the women from ECE ILLINOIS attended talks, lectures, and interviews with leading companies and experts in the field of tech. GHC is an opportunity for ECE ILLINOIS students to expand their education, reach, and thrive.  GHC is built on a mission to connect, inspire, and guide women in computing, and organizations that view technology innovation as a strategic imperative.  More information on Grace Hopper can be found here
