Cynthia Keaton Williams has spent the past 30 years working on campus. She started out at Central Stores as the switch board operator and worked 10 years for the ROTC program. For the past five years, she has worked with shipping and receiving in the ECE Supply Center before transitioning into a supervisory role. Before she retires this December, we asked her questions - some serious, some not. Here are her answers.
When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you spend it?
I spend it by posting daily devotionals and sharing community events on Facebook as well as catching up on what is going on in the lives of my family and friends.
What was your happiest moment?
The happiest moment of my life was becoming a mother.
Where would you like to visit?
What are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about working with the youth.
Do you have a secret talent, and if so, what is it?
I'm an amateur photographer. I love taking pictures and creating memories through them.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Treat others like how you want to be treated.
What is your favorite book and why?
The Bible - it inspires me to live a purposeful and fulfilling life.
What aspect of your career are you most proud of?
I have completed 30 years!
What is your favorite food?
Do you collect anything? If so, what?
I am a clearance shopper so I love a good bargain. Although most of the time I'm buying something for someone else, I love to give and see the joy it brings to others.
