Critical Infrastructure Resilience Institute
Artificial intelligence, especially machine-learning and deep learning, has the potential to help find new solutions to complex problems much faster than humans can. Quantum computing has the potential to develop solutions to problems that were previously considered too computationally complex to even have solutions. The importance of critical infrastructures to the Homeland Security Enterprise cannot be over-estimated, which makes a means of exploring how security and resiliency might be enhanced through AI and quantum computing of significant value.
This workshop will bring together international experts to address these questions and capture ideas and potential solutions. The goal is to provide guidance on future funding of research and development focused on such applications.
