Sandia National Laboratories has an outstanding opportunity available to exceptional bachelor's-level candidates interested in paid tuition for a Master’s degree and an exciting career in a multidisciplinary national security environment!

The Master’s Fellowship Program (MFP) and Critical Skills Master’s Program (CSMP) are open to students who have graduated within the past 2 years or are finishing an undergrad degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering (MFP only) with a minimum of a 3.0/4.0 or higher cumulative GPA, and are planning on enrolling in a Master’s program next fall.

Sandia’s MFP is designed to support achievement of a more diverse technical workforce at Sandia through the Laboratories’ Affirmative Action Plan. The CSMP is designed to attract talent pursuing key disciplines aligned with Sandia’s national security mission.

If accepted into this program, students will be hired into a position in Albuquerque, NM (most jobs), or Livermore, CA (Bay Area). They will enter their graduate technical program as a full-time student with paid tuition and a stipend from Sandia. Students will then continue their career development with Sandia upon completion of their degree.

Students will have the unique opportunity to attend one of Sandia’s Campus Recruiting Schools. This includes our Academic Alliance universities, which are Georgia Tech, Purdue, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University Texas at Austin, and the University of New Mexico, in addition to other top universities across the nation. For more information about the programs, please visit the CSMP website and MFP website.

Candidate must apply online by December 1 at Keyword search MFP or CSMP.
