Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in electrical and computer engineering intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: Approved for both letter and S/U grading. May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.

This course will encapsulate the ideation and problem identification aspects of engineering senior design, and is anticipated to facilitate student innovation. Students taking ECE445 senior design may use this course one to two semesters before taking ECE445 to identify a suitable project for the course, to build a team, and to explore the feasibility and potential solution space for the selected project area.
